It is a pleasure to greet you! My name is János Pordán. I was born in Budapest and graduated in 2015 with honors from the “L’Ecole d'Art Maryse Eloy” art university in Paris. I began my career in the advertising industry as a freelance graphic designer, working for renowned brands such as Telekom, Asics, and Samsung. Later, I transitioned to the film industry, where I continued to work as an art director, mural painter, and graphic designer. I am proud to have collaborated with esteemed international clients, including Netflix, HBO, Disney, Prime Network, and CBS Studios.

My work often takes me to different places; in 2023, I spent the year in Iceland before relocating from Budapest to the enchanting city of Klagenfurt, Austria. Throughout this time, painting and creating artistic prints have remained an integral part of my creative practice, serving not only as work but also as a form of playful relaxation and expression.

During my university years, I was deeply influenced by typography and calligraphy, and later in my career, I became captivated by the precision of architectural drawings. My art is inspired by the aesthetics of graffiti, with a central focus on the intersections between analog and digital worlds, as well as the dynamics of motion and its essence. My style is most closely aligned with abstract expressionism.

It is a great honor for me to share my artwork with others. My goal is not to replicate a mood but to create one, offering a unique and personal experience for every viewer.
